Name: Squirtle
Game/Series: Pokemon
Age & Grade Level: 12, Freshman
Personality: Squirtle has a little bit of a wild personality, or so he did before he started
his adventures with Red, most of the time he did what he wanted but soon grew a unbreakable bond with not only his trainer but his soon to be friends or more so comrades Ivysaur and Charizard. Although he is much younger then the rest of them, Squirtle tries his best to not get left behind, and prove not only to Red but to everyone else that he's not just some weakling, and that he can be just as smart or strong as anyone else. Energetic, really nosy, and often gets into all kinds of trouble. Even if he is overly energetic he still sometimes gets shy around other people outside his team. But he's one kid you can count on to either be a big help or make things a whole lot worse.
[Team Relations]
*Red he trusts the most and sees him like a big brother, and a friend. Since they have been together since the beginning he will probably rely on him the most out of the 3, and will always do what Red says, no matter what it is, being so close he tends to call him 'Aniki' rather then Red.
*Ivysaur is someone he can talk too also, when times are rough he would often go to Red or Ivysaur. Ivysaur being the only female of the group, really left Squirtle with almost the 'big sister' or even 'motherly' type, and isn't afraid to show his emotions around her, he also calls her 'onee-san'.
*Charizard being slightly new to the team he still feels a little intimidated and would like to eventually learn a little more about him, mostly to see if he's not all as mean as most people would like to think. While this may be true he can get along with Charizard at times when it's not such a big crowd. He still refers to him as 'Charizard' in fear he wouldn't like any nicknames.
Backstory: Squirtle was born in the watery regions of (Kanto?), although when he was, he didn't wake up to any welcoming family and soon ended up by himself, taking care of himself as much as he could but being just a baby he wouldn't last long. It was then a Researcher and Professor had stumbled into the little turtle on an expedition. The old man had realized this little turtle was all alone and decided to take him back to his lab in (Pallet?) Town. Squirtle didn't put up much of a fight as he was defiantly tired and hungry, and not to mention so scared he couldn't move, he wasn't sure what was going on, but it felt like he could at least understand that this man was kind. He ended up being raised by the Prof. and he grew up to like humans although he was still a little on the wild side and would run off where he pleased, not really paying attention to anything.
Things changed when a young boy named Red had arrived to the lab to receive his "Starter" Pokemon. Usually it would always be hand picked by the Professor so the trainer would get a strong Pokemon to start off with, although the Professor wanted to see Squirtle grow and be able to have the freedom he seems to want. But even with a choice of three Pokemon Red ended up choosing Squirtle anyways, while his long time rival picked the grass Pokemon Bulbasaur. Squirtle saw Red as just a trainer and nothing else, he didn't have much respect for him and always did what he wanted, but as time went on, Squirtle seemed to grow up to Red and see him as one would call a 'big brother' fighting along side Red made him realize how fun it was to get out in the world and meet new Pokemon and people. It was much more interesting then being stuck in that lab.
Squirtle soon started listening to Red's orders, infact he soon got used to it so much he tends to wait on them all the time now, while this might seem like a bad thing, he has full trust in his trainer and will know he will lead them both to victory. But while Squirtle realized the team was growing, Ivysaur soon joined, then even sooner Charizard. Squirtle felt intimidated and kind of worried Red would like them better because they were stronger but made him kind of happy this team, or even 'family' was getting bigger. It just made the experience even more enjoyable.
Forward to Sumabura, Red had told them about this school for fighting and becoming a better team. Squirtle saw this as a chance to prove he could be just as amazing as Ivysaur or Charizard in battle. Although Squirtle is much younger, he didn't care, he'd want to join just to not be left out. Where they went, he would go too. He wanted to be as much as he could to a family he was so lucky to have, especially when he never got one of his own. Because family stick together, right?
